8 jobs that didn’t exist 10 years ago

With rise of technological advancements many jobs that weren’t inexistence a decade ago caught the market by surprise leading to urgent need for those skills. Among them are as follows:

1. DATA SCIENCE

Data science is the process of collecting and analyzing data for it to tell a story in order to solve problems through strategic recommendations. Basically, a data scientist is someone who knows statistics more than a software engineer and knows programming more than any statistician.

2. UI/UX DESIGNER

User interface (UI) is the series of screens, pages, and visual elements — like buttons and icons — that enable a person to interact with a product or service while User experience (UX), on the other hand, is the internal experience that a person has as they interact with every aspect of a company’s products and services.

3. CLOUD ARCHITECTURE

Cloud architecture refers to the various building components that make up a cloud. The cloud, in this context, means a service often rented from a provider of computing power, storage, or business applications. You can easily imagine the cloud as a vast space with resources that you have access to from the ground.

4. SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

This is the management of a brand’s social media accounts with tasks of tweeting, posting and customer interaction on behalf of the organization to maintain high productive internet interaction.

5. IOS AND ANDROID DEVELOPER

Android app development refers to the process of developing apps for Android OS based mobile and tablet devices. IOS development refers to the process of developing apps for Apple iOS-based mobile/tablet devices.

6. BIG DATA MANAGEMENT

Big data management is the organization, administration and governance of large volumes of both structured and unstructured data. The goal of big data management is to ensure a high level of data quality and accessibility for business intelligence and big data analytics applications.

7. DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

A digital marketing manager is responsible for developing, implementing and managing marketing campaigns that promote a company and its products and/or services.

8. CLOUD SERVICES SPECIALIST

A cloud computing specialist helps companies migrate their information and services into the cloud. It is essential that there is no interruption in services during this migration. He/she helps ensure this by analyzing a company’s needs and helping them select the appropriate cloud technology.

The US department of labor estimates that Today’s learner will have 10–14 jobs by the age of 38. Jobs will come, jobs will go. At this age of neuro networks, artificial learning and machine learning many jobs are going to be automated. By now there are programs that are user friendly which can help you build and design your website/app. If a job such as programming is at risk of going into automation by 2049 imagine the traditional ones. To maneuver in this data economy where there is plethora of information learning should be unending.
